SOCA– Stonehaus/Belvedere is proud to partner with the Soccer Organization of Charlottesville-Albemarle and house their permanent home within the community. The project plans include club offices, an indoor field house, a full-size outdoor all-weather field, and five natural grass playing fields. The project is located on three distinct parcels within Belvedere, integrating the facilities within the neighborhood design. The parcels will be donated by the developer to SOCA. The Soccer Organization of Charlottesville-Albemarle provides enjoyable, effective, quality, soccer programs which develop participants' skills and encourage citizenship. SOCA is open to all youth and adults in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area. |

Virginia Gators of Charlottesville– Belvedere is proud to sponsor the Virginia Gators swim team. The Gators practice year-round at the Fairview Swim and Tennis Club, but membership with Fairview is not a requirement for swimming with the Gators. The Virginia Gators are committed to excellence through developing and challenging swimmers in a positive community for success in sport and life. |

The USGBC is a non-profit organization committed to expanding sustainable building practices. USGBC is composed of more than 12,000 organizations from across the building industry that are working to advance structures that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. |

LEED – ND– Belvedere is proud to be the first neighborhood in Central Virginia to participate in the LEED® for Neighborhood Development Pilot Program, which is being conducted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The LEED for Neighborhood Development Rating System integrates the principles of smart growth, urbanism and green building into the first national system for neighborhood design. LEED certification provides independent, third-party verification that a development's location and design meet accepted high levels of environmentally responsible, sustainable development. |
| Currently in its pilot period, LEED for Neighborhood Development is collaboration among USGBC, the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Natural Resources Defense Council. The USGBC has developed LEED, the highest benchmark system for environmentally responsible and sustainable development. |

VA Film–Belvedere was proud to be the exclusive sponsor of the 20th Annual Virginia Film Festival’s Opening Night Gala. Belvedere has partnered with the Virginia Film Festival to signal support of one of Charlottesville’s most recognized art events, and to begin the integration of arts into the Belvedere Civic Core. Belvedere plans to have regular evening film screenings at the Belvedere Village Green and Town Hall. |
